How to pin race numbers
1. You need 7 pins. Start on the corners at the top of your pockets. Don't put a pin on the "tailing-side" of your number, so you don't catch wind. 2. Stick the pins through the number, then the jersey, then back through the number. Don't use the holes! Those are for runners
3. Use your steering wheel, or a pillow, or your handlebars because it helps to lay the material out, but you still want to be able to stab!
4. Try it on! Be patient, and don't be frustrated by fixing

Making a left turn in Denton: Panhandle and Coit
This is not a prescription telling you how to ride. It's a description of my personal experience of, and thought process about, a specific left turn that I make on a bicycle, every day on my way to work. The setting is me going east on Panhandle towards Carroll, turning left to go north on Coit towards Crescent. There is no traffic signal, and I don't have a stop sign. The sequence of events: 1. The Rolling Clinic
On Fridays we have a social ride that leaves from our shop at 7. It is an any-skill-level, all-bikes, everyone-welcome kind of a ride. Two Ways to Accelerate
Let me give you two examples of different techniques for accelerating on your bicycle. These techniques aren't just for racing or group rides; you can also use these methods of getting up to speed when fighting a headwind or when rolling away from a red light or stop sign. While these are only two examples and many more exist, these two are a good starting point experimenting with what you prefer and what you are weakest at and need to practice more. 1.
